His promise.........Jeremiah 29:11

I live in Shelbyville, KY with my awesome husband, Tim, and our incredible 8 year old son, Joseph. I was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN and moved to the central KY area 15 years ago when Tim and I married on August 14, 1993. My time in KY has been a huge blessing in my life and I look forward to seeing where the Lord will lead me.

So much to say...so little time

Okay, first I have to say that this week at work was rather boring for me. I did get all of my work done everyday day by about 12:30pm. Seriously! One day, while no one was around, I shot rubber bands into a nearby office (no one in there, of course) for about 30 minutes. Yes, I was bored. However, my aim is getting better. My head boss, Jennifer, was out of town all week at a convention for 4-H agents so things were a little slow. I don't really do too much for the other agents, so when they handed me stuff I was thrilled. Our call volume was rather low this week, as well. Don't know why, it just was. I could have used the time to do just about anything, but I was in a mood all week and didn't want to FIND work for myself. Don't worry, they still think I'm wonderful. I did all of my work, got things to them ASAP and did things well. No problem. Thank the good Lord above that I had KLOVE and Air 1 to listen to and keep me sane.

On the home front it is hard to keep things straight around here now. Not that I was a good housekeeper before I went back to work, but I just don't have the motivation when I get home. Any work that I can accomplish is completely trashed in just a few hours because of the kids. I think I am beginning to better understand my mother. For pete's sake!...pick up your socks and shoes!!!!! Okay, really, I'm just as guilty, but not quite as bad.

We got Nele's senior pics back this week. They are GORGEOUS!!! That girl can take a great picture! We got a picture submitted for the yearbook so that part is over. I think she is excited about getting the wallets back so she can give them out to her friends here in the states. By the way, we are in the midst of all the senior stuff with Nele, and she really wants a class ring. Naturally, she doesn't want the traditional style ring, but she does want one. I would love to be able to get something for her, but can't afford the prices that Josten's has going. Any ideas on rings that would be appropriate for a 16 year old (needs to be silver) would be greatly appreciated. Keep your eyes peeled for something that can be engraved or something. I think it will make her very happy and not break the bank. Oy! This stuff is expensive.

Here's hoping that all of you have a great weekend and that the Lord blesses you beyond measure!
